  1. Hello mates! Any one has by any chance spare decals from a F-117A in 1/72 scale, I need the U.S. roundels. Just the roundels. Thanks!
  2. Thanks Dan, I will give it a try and post some pictures of my progres. This is one project I dont want to leave hanging by a detail.... Cheers
  3. Thanks jose, I figured that part already, but if it is just the evergreen doesnt it end up to fragile? I figured using needles for the base tubes, but there is always the trouble of making the transversal holes to receive the evergreen strips. Cooper tubes should do the trick right?
  4. Hello forum friends, I am currently working on a HH-60 1/72 and i want to leave de blades in a retracted position, but instead of just living them loose I want to make de straps to hold them. Do you have any tips or reference on how to make them or what materials are beter to use? Thanks a lot. I wouldn´t like to leave it just like this: Thanks for your comments.
  5. Hello friends, I moved to another house and in during the moving, it seems that a couple of pieces of my model in progress got lost. I am building a sptifire MkV from revell germany in 1/72. Does any one has this kit as kit bash and can lend or sell me the pices I need? Kit parts: 26 (canopy) 15 (hidraulic bulge) 10 (right short wing tip) Thanks a lot!
  6. Hello guys! Does any one can confirm that the Reapes is painted in a 2 color scheme? I have been watching closely to some pictures on the web and it appears as if it is painted with a low gray...maybe light ghost gray up side and a darker gray, maybe dark ghost gray or a little darker in the lower parts. A darker gray kind of gunship gray in the sensor module in the nose. Any one? Thanks! http://files.air-attack.com/MIL/predator/mq9deployment_20071105.jpg http://www.designation-systems.net/dusrm/app2/mq-9a.jpg http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-lEblAiUtTnM/ThsWrcyX21I/AAAAAAAABCc/DOs3qGruIFg/s
  7. Thanks to all, it will be a lot of help, it is in deed a very eye catcher this schemme. I hope I can get it right. Wil post photos of it when concluded. Best regards to all!
  8. My fellow modelers, I saw a build Mirage F1CR model some years ago in a national contest held at El Salvador, and it was painted in a very atractive shcemme of four diferent tones of brown.... I had a scann of the article about the build of this model from which the modeler from El Salvador took reference, but I lost it and so did he... and now all I could find in the web was this pic: Does any one has more pictures of this exact schemme or know where I could find them? I would be very gratefull! Cheers!
  9. Thanks a lot guys!!!! You have been a usefull help. I hope to submit photos of my crusader when finished. Thanks again, Eduardo
  10. Guys, does any one can tell me if the crusader in the Navy was used for bombing? Or just as an interceptor with missiles? It’s just that I’m building the F-8E crusader from Academy in 1/72 with Navy markings but wanted to have the MERs with the 8 bombs provided with the kit under the wings..... Any photos will be appreciated Thanks
  11. Thanks for your coments to all, I will try to keep up with the pictures as work progress. I bend the styrene strips (you are not gona belive it) with heat form my breath and bending them with my fingers little bye little, they usually don´t get the right curve but then with twizers and tenax the finaly give in the right position.
  12. Hello guys!! care to coment? This was made with evergreen strips, it´s still in progress. Jope you enjoy....
  13. Right now I am just making the research. I put myself into making a little collection of navy low biz modern aircraft in 1/48. I have already done the A-6 intruder, the F-18A, the marines harrier and A-4, and I will start the F-14 this month., but I´m looking forward to get the A-7, the F-8, the F-4, the F-18D, and the S-3 (and if ebay dont forbids it, the prowler). Thanks again and happy modeling.
  14. Bill, Julien, Thanks a lot, you info will be very helpfull. Very nice pics Bill. I will submit pics the day I finish my model!!! Thanks and happy new year!!!
