  1. You can add another $26 (based on a $650 order) for the new paypal, we need more money, so we charge to convert the currency from one to another!!!!!????!!!!!

It's 4 % on the order NOT a flat fee so the more you order the more you pay!!! Which is weird coz it should only take a few seconds to do the math!!!

Something the CC companies do for free!!

I wanted your new F-117A sheet in 1/72 and l cannot buy it from you or Hannants (sold out) in the UK.

I will have to wait for it to be restocked, hopefully.

It is a very crazy situation we have here.

    Regards

    Robert

Technically not sold out - has not arrived, found in the future releases section!!!!

  3. Lately I have been cleaning up my tiny parts (that didn't sound good???) while on the sprue! Of course the area where the sprue is attached can't be done but usually it can be attacked once the part is glued in place? I have done a lot of 72nd armour in the past few months and these manufacturers have found ways to mold the smallest pieces!!!

What I would like to see made is tweezers with a fine (say 1200 grit) texture or even sand paper at the end area of the arms. I have a pair of tweezers that have a lovely chrome like smooth finish on the inside of the arms and that is what drove me to working parts on the sprue. You probably know the metallic 'thwack' that would announce the launch of a plastic part into a low earth orbit!! I mean smooth plastic on shiny polished metal - what could go wrong????????????????????

Lately if I don't hear a part launched land somewhere I don't even bother to look just start making a new part from spare plastic!!

  4. My three would be;

    1. CT-134 (Beech Sundowner) have 3 solo trips

    2. CT-114 yes the Snowbirds a/c, never got to solo but have a lot of trips in them!!

    3. CH-136 the Bell Jetranger, my boss in Cool Pool got bored and decided to teach me (Navigator) to hover; only took 3 trips!!

I would have too say the F-5/T-38 are close in 4 and 5 spots!

  5. Sure hope those who have been bitten by this bug recover fully and soon!!!

Well Chris, by the way the EU is moving our border will probably stay closed for a while longer!!!!

Got a haircut last week - woohoo - feel much lighter, and in the wallet as well as the hobby stores are open!!

  7. As stated if you use the evil bay you MUST pay close attention to what you click on!!!!

The Post Office (PO) at least here in Canada, measures parcels and the size determines the cost! It could be full of well feathers, and the cost stays the same?? I got ripped off by an amazon seller on a DVD (wrong region) so tried to return it, and the cost to return a DVD to England was more then I paid for it!!!??? The seller had access to bulk shipping so lower cost, I don't!!!

Global shipping as stated is a joke, to us. So packages get sent to the center(???) and a ? financial company (can't remember name) IMHO guesstimates your duty & taxes, and then off it goes. Well if they are wrong I notice there is no published way by the evil bay to challenge the amount, and do they send a notice of what they are taking from your paypal account and when = NOOOOOOOO. The money just disappears!!! This is some convoluted way that the evil bay thinks it is helping Govt's collect lost duty & taxes - I say let the experts, for me Canada Customs, figure it out, then it gets done right!!!!

And the evil bays tracking is totally useless!!! I have one kit that I started to build and evil bay's tracking still had in the post!!! Their estimates are always on the long side, I think, to help the seller, so I started to walk away slowly from that evil bay, don't want to go cold turkey!!

Again as mentioned RTFL, very carefully!!!

  8. 2 questions - You indicated the Apache Delta sheet would follow in 72nd??

Will one be able to build different Edwards F-4s? IOW will there be a series of numbers to enable the modeller to build a specific F-4?

    Thanks

I would really luv to see the bird in the second link since I have 1.1 hrs in the back seat!!!! So if a 72nd Phantom sheet comes along please include it!!!!!!

  10. If you compare the two; at the gun end, there is a marked difference in width, with Monogram being correct. I base that on measurements and common sense, since a company doesn't change the build jigs just because no one is sitting back there!!?!

  11. OK, just for fun dry fit the fuses and compare the stern parts to each other!! You may change your mind about the non-Monogram kit!!??

If you scout around the vapour world you will find a better price for the MoC kit(s)......
