I'm new to the airbrushing scene (used one for the first time yesterday). I see posted here about thinning paint at a 2:1 or 1:1 ratio. My question is, how do you accurately measure (and mix) the paint and thinner? So, airbrush pros, what are your techniques? I'm just feeling my way around in the dark right now with airbrushing.

Thanks for the info, Skydivin! I had no idea there were any hobby stores in the area besides Hobby Town in Town and Country and Hobby Lobby stores. These will be a bit of a drive for me, but well worth it, I'm sure. Thanks again!

I'm in the St. Louis (Metro East) area, Skydivin, where is CRM Hobby? There's absolutely nothing as far as hobby stores in the Metro East, with the exception of Hobby Lobby, and that really doesn't count. Thank you Murph and Habu for your replies!

I recently purchased an airbrush (Badger) and would like to use acrylics. Where's the best place to buy paint on-line in the states? I've read here that Tamiya and Gunze are by far the most popular acrylics.
