Pete,
The engine nacelles are different to the standard nacelles in that they have a bulge on the LHS for the uprated generator. Apparently it is a bit bigger, it is the same beast that is on the AEW&C Wedgetail aircraft.
Also there is no rear cargo door and the front cargo door has been moved forward. The bomb bay dimensions are going to be a problem unless you can get some Boeing dimensions from their website or a handout.

Can someone please help me with a scan of the instruction sheet. I would like to finish this kit before I get bored with it and start another kit.

Just for interest, the RAAF F-4Es were Blk 43 aircraft with hard wings and early cannon muzzle, later modified to have the luminous light strips, then the long cannon muzzle. All except 69-7203, which crashed were returned to the USAF at the end of their lease and most ended up as QF/F-4Gs. their serial numbers were 69-0304 - 69-0307 and 69-7201 -69-7217, 69-7219-69-7220 and 69-7234. 69-7234 was badly damaged in an accident that the USAF declared was unrepairable, but 3Aircraft Depot at RAAF base Amberley in Queeensland repaired it and I believe it was the last ex-RAAF F-4 shot down as a QF-4G. This aircraft and 69-7209 are illustrated on the Two Bobs QF-4G decal sheet.

For those who don't know, the RAAF F-111C A8-112 is actually a converted F-111A and one of the Vietnam detachment aircraft 67-112.

I should of been more clear in my original post. I was asking F-16 questions and the first one question regarding cockpit color had nothing to do with the Tamiya kit. I just purchased the Kinetic F-16DG/DJ kit and the instructions for the cockpit color was Gunze H308 Light Ghost Grey.
Well then I am happy, I have been searching around for a Tamiya F-16 and everyone is out of stock and only had the Thunderbird kit. I thought you could only build the Thunderbird out of that kit, I am far from and F-16 expert, so I am learning about the different blocks and I am happy I can buy that kit and build a block 32 or 52 aircraft. Not happy I have to buy decals though.
Mesher
What block and scheme do you want to do it in. I may have some spare F-16 decals for a scheme you want. I have a few F-16 decals (well lots actually). If you want to do a South Carolina ANG BLK 52 acft I would be able to help and I would have any of the schemes that come in the blk 25/32 or blk 50 boxing except for the cockpit data stencilling decals, to give you as I have two or three of each kit.
Cheers

Yesterday I picked up my Kinetic F-16AM and F-16CJ/DJ.
Lots and Lots of weapons, four of most things except the GBU-31s.
There are some ejector pin marks that need cleaning but overall they look good. :D

This evening I discovered a very interesting scheme worn from the F-16 "pride of Siouxland":
http://www.f-16.net/gallery_item199154.html
In scale 1/48 is there a decals sheet that cover this subject?
I am in the process of building this aircraft using the Superscale decals. Watch out for them as mine shattered in the water or when I slid them off the backing sheet onto the model. I have had to make new ones from the one tail marking that I hadn't yet put in the water. I am also in the process of redoing the Souix City across the base of the tail because again one of them disintegrated as soon as it was slid off the paper.
I have used Alclad Pale Gold over Model Master Gloss Black for the Gold as Cadillac Gold was impossible to match in Australia especially when I didn't have a sample. Also it seems to match the photos of the aircraft in Jake Melampy's book.
For the wing walkway stripes I just cut thin strip of masking tape and laid them down on the black prior to spraying the gold.

I have always had a frustrating probelm when it comes to decaling big decals around compound curves. for example, I decalled a 1/72 scale P-40E from Academy wilt the Alutian Tiger markings on it, the nose art is a tiger and although it went on fine I can't get it to stick to the contours of the nose no matter what I do.
So my question is how do I get these big decals to sit properly with no raised bits sticking up???
If you're using the Academy decals, you might also want to try and use hot, not luke warm water to soften the decal and help it conform. This is a tip I was told AFTER cursing the check decals on the P-47D nose.

Geoff,
Thanks for these, the one of 82-1032 s just what I was looking for. I picked up a set of Repli-Scale F-16 ANG decals with Florida and VT in them and as I have the earlier Superscale set of the VT ANG F-16As I was hoping to find a picture of one of the family models in full colour.
Jake,
Your F-16 Pt1 book has been read so many times I'm going to have to get a new one as the pages are starting to come loose.
Thanks guys for your help.

Ladies & Gentlemen,
I'm after some info on the following two F-16B ADF aircraft.
82-1032
82-1044
I'm particularly after info on whether these two birds carried the full colour VT tail flash. Both photos in Jake's Viper Story Pt1 show them with low vis tail markings, but I would like someone to prove that I can use mt spare set of decals on a family model.
Thanks

No interest in any of your selections, since they are mainly F-14, F-15, F-16, F-18 & F-22.
No way will I ever build any of those "aircraft".
Larry
C'mon Larry, there's a nice RF-4C in test markings sitting at the Eglin AFB Museum that you could do!!

Hi guys.
This is the quadruple Mig killer from the new Revell decal sheet. Serial number is 64-0806, time frame in 1984 with the 199th TFS Hawai'i ANG.
My main question is was this plane in the standard SEA as depicted in the decal sheet, or was it in the SEA wrap around?
I've got the load out ready from another thread, I'm just in need of info for the correct camo scheme.
Thank you in advance to anyone who can point the right direction here.
Will
Will,
I've just seen this thread and I've just checked my copy of Don Logan's "F-4 Phantom II of the US Air Force Reserve and Air National Guard" and it doesn't list 64-0806 as a Mig Killer at all . The only Mig Killer listed as serving with the Hawaii ANG is 63-7647, which got a Mig-17 on 05 Jun 67.

Australian F-111? Must confess that I'm not sure whether the Pig uses the big Popeye or the Have Lite version (shorter and lighter), though I believe it to be the latter...

I'm currently building this RAAF WIF along with a F-16B-15 in 2OCU Tiger markings and a RAAF E-2C which they looked at in the 80s as an AEW&C platform.

Is Italeri's Mirage IIIE an OK kit and does it have raised or recessed panel lines.

The only problem I see with the lists of goodies needed so far is that the kit will also need the early wheel hubs which to my knowledge are only available in the initial release of the Tamiya kit. They may also be in the early F-15A Monogroam/Revell kit but I have not seen this kit and therefore are unable to ascertain whether or not they are in it. But all three schemes need the early wheels.
