Edit. Just noticed that the vents on the F-35B/C gun pod make for a smilie face.
Is that the "Bob Ross" gun pod?

Reading on some of the websites, I would have thought the fiberglass housing would have been the source of the failure, but in the third link that Moose posted the author suspects the likely culprit was a ver-stab failure. I'm curious as to the history or evidence supporting this.

I will never, ever forget hearing about Belenko's defection in September 1976.
You show me a Soviet pilot with some initiative, and I'll show you a Foxbat in Japan!

I see Microsoft is offering a free upgrade to windows 10 for 7&8 users I received a notification today, I've read a little about it but I curious what others think, anybody?
Windows 10: We finally fixed everything.
having cussed Windows seven beyond belief, I made the switch to 8.0, and boy did it suck! Made Vista look good. So then I went to 8.1, and it was only very slightly better. I will not waste my time with Windows 10, and simply buy a MAC and forget Windows ever existed.

Regardless of the actual numbers, in all honesty the movie is really well-done and worth watching. You don't even have ships jumping out of the water sailing over bridges or shore outcroppings. :woot.gif:/>
Warning: spoilers

Admiral: Roaring Currents
In 1597 a Korean Admiral takes the 12 remaining ships of his defeated fleet up against 330 invading Japanese vessels.

I hope they have the grace and decency to produce a good many of them!

Technically, it's a piloted vehicle, so sci-fi. I'd put the crew under figures.

Weapons bay images:

Haven't seen any images for open shoulder bays.

At the beginning of the video, I'm curious as to "stadium cover" structure in the distant background, and what appears to be a Buran shuttle mock-up at the airfield (last I heard the Buran was destroyed by a hangar collapse in 2002, though about ten test vehicles/mock-ups were built).

Who deals with money laundering issues in the UK? It would be entertaining to set up a false account under that title, bid with it, and see the response.

Eat the kids. I agree.

I don't like Irish food.

In the United States, a lot of us are now working more than our supposed national-standard 40 hours a week just to make a living. So making every meal ourselves, while having time for things like plastic modeling, too, can be tough. I do it by having very, very simple everyday meals, but that may not appeal to everyone.
I've gotten to the point where I just eat the kits.

In the USA, Baby boomers, particularly came in for a lot of flak from the World War II generation. Pick up any newspaper's op-ed page from about 1969 or 1971, and you'll see what I mean.
I find that fascinating as it was the WW II generation that parented them. Quite frankly, a lot of the problems that manifested after WW II were originated by "The Greatest Generation" and grossly exacerbated by the Boomers.
Indeed, if you're really just looking to blame millennials, blame them as consumers for the downturn in big-chain fast food. The fortunes of McDonalds, Burger King, and Wendy's were built on the tastes of twentieth-century parents and kids, who's grim alternatives were often poorly regulated diners and roadhouses. It's 1963, and you're traveling the brand-new interstate highways; you see that familiar sign 400 miles from home, and you know what you're getting. Well, now we have the internet that radically changes the marketing landscape, making small chains, and one-off joints much more attractive. Plus, we don't assume more calories is the single measure of a worthwhile meal. Hell for McDonalds. The bold is big. Now when I'm on the road, rather than stop at Mickey-D's for a pink-slime burger, I hit the review listings for what people rate highly.

Reasons why I:
1. Prepare my own food (as well as my own labor for projects of a size and scope within my means).
2. Keep the few and far between fast food orders small and simple for the times I'm in desperate need of not blood sugar crashing.

As kind of a side note, the VAST majority of MilkyWay milk tankers actually carry wine, locally.

Who in-charge cares? Give it three weeks and the public forgets. As long as the money rolls in, it's not really an issue.

They were still working out the helmet coding issues.

I'd have to check with one of my friends. He kit-bashed an RB-57 using the MACH 2 wings and I think an Italeri fuselage. How desperate are you for accuracy and how much work are you willing to push through? If you use an Italeri fuselage the Pavla fit issue becomes moot. You should be able to drill-out or modify the MACH 2 wings for the SAC landing gear to work for you.

I-52 was a cargo submarine slated for work between Japan and Europe:

Seems like her journey would make for a pretty good Japanese equivalent to Das Boot.
Edit: Seems like some 1:350 kits are on the horizon:
