  1. Hi Kursad,

Would you consider making a 1/72 F-15EX/SG/QA set for the new Academy or Revell kits? That'll be the ECM blisters, the new pylons, and F110 engine nozzles. There's seriously nobody doing it and with more people buying the Eagle II it'll be a great opportunity. Thanks!

  2. I'm working on MiG-29 Bort 44 from the 773 IAP back when it was based in Damgarten (that two-tone green scheme) and I've had good luck on the tops and sides, but I can't find anything for the bottom? The Begemot sheet says the pattern is applied to the bottom of the aircraft, but doesn't actually show the bottom scheme. Does anyone have references to that? Thank you!

  3. Went out of the country for a few weeks. Got to put a little in here and there though. Got the silver on a day or two before my flight, and last night I did a marathon session getting the fluorescent red and black paint on:

    I thought I took some more in-progress shots, but I can't find them :(

    Future goes on tonight.

  4. And it's done. I'll need to replace that cutting mat eventually, it's got some glue spots and part of the laminate of my old modeling bench stuck underneath. Hard to make decent cuts with it. The three boxes across are the ones I really want to get done, so those are my focus. Thanks for your encouragement guys!

  5. Dude, is your workspace in the kitchen? That looks like kitchen cabinets and countertops to me.

Haha no, for some reason the guys we bought the house from built this tacky dry bar in the basement. I do my modeling here since the socializing is done upstairs.

If that is the kitchen, then I know someone that isn't married.

Ah no, I'm happily married. She puts up with this hobby, my other hobbies, my nerdiness and other such shenanigans.

Anyway, I'm here to report my progress to you guys. Partly built models have been put in their open boxes along with all sprues and shelved behind me (the in-progress shelf). I'm doing this one surface at a time, divided into four surfaces. The main work area is now cleared of stuff, now to wipe stuff down.

    More to come.

  6. I see a game here...

How many kits are on the bench under construction???

    I think I see 7

Then there's the stuff that's off the frame :P

For accountability, I'm going to start cleaning up and post pics of progress. Only when it's cleaned up and organized would I start building again.

  7. A view of the stencil sheet - this will be available separately, bundled with another small sheet with a set of common USAF KC-135R markings. I'm not sure, but I believe the markings for the extended boom may be a first - I have not seen them included on any other sheet before. These are very prominent, and should make it easier to build an in-flight diorama with the boom extended.

Drafts of the main sheet coming soon - I just need to work a little bit on the layout before sending it out this week.

  8. I'm a little late on this but yes, I got a flu shot, even though it makes me sick with the well-known flu-like symptoms a few days after. I skipped it last year and hey, guess what? I got the flu. Oddly enough, I did get sick after getting my shot last Friday. Take the shot, guys. The flu sucks big time.

  9. I doubt we'll do them in 1/72 honestly. If there's a loud enough cry, but I can't see the market being very big (i.e.: big enough to justify) for them. In 1/144 you can fit a lot more on a sheet, and ANG stuff is so parochial we need to get as much wide appeal as possible on a single sheet.

D'ooohhhh. Oh well. Thanks for looking into it though, I appreciate it!
