  1. Think I'm little bit late here ... Anyway, I'll give my 5 cents.

Tried to do a tree few months ago as a part of a small dio for my Campagnola in 1/72.

Structure of the tree is made with copper wire, gave it a desired shape which I covered with putty. This one will make it harder .

Next step was brown acrilic paint - here you can choose colour, texture, ...

For the crown of the tree I used aquarium filter threads so it gives a very nice shape to all. Sprayed the same colour on it.

Aplayed some white glue (VINAVIL in Italy) trying to leave small drops of it and than just droped some NOCH folliage.

    This is a result ...

But, I wasn't very happy with it - too much green, if you know what I mean ...

So, instead of folliage I used micro leaves and it went just fantastic, judge by your self

  3. Well, few years ago I found a photo  that captured me ...

After some research I found out the story of this tank ...

It belonged to 5 th. (verstarkte) Police-Panzer-Company, an armored police unit (OrdnungsPolizei), mostly equipped with a T-34/76, which operated in Russia from 1942. It was reformed during spring 1944 when it also received T-34-76 model 43. In the summer of 1944 the unit was transfered to Udine ( Italy) where it operated in the OZAK (Operatioszone Adriatisches Kùstenland - Adriatic Coastal Operation Zone)  in the period July ’44 - May ’45.

At the end of April '45 some vehicles of the unit are destroyed during the liberation of Istria and Trieste, and some, like this tank, were incorporated into the NOVJ  ( the People's Liberation Army of Yugoslavia)

I used pieces of Dragon, ACE, UM models in 1/72 scale with much self-construction. Figures are Preiser and Caesar.

Luckily, I was in Trieste for work so I took a ride to Piazza Garibaldi to take the measurements of the palace, unfortunatly not an ice-shop anymore ...

So, this is an yugoslav tank T-34/76 model 43 entering Trieste first days of May, 1945 ....

  5. If you remember, on May 27, 2016, during an exhibition in New York, a Republic P-47D-40-RA Thunderbolt  "Jackey's Revenge" (s / n 44-90447) crashed into the Hudson River. Unfortunately, the pilot was killed.
Few people know that the same plane, but with the number 13012 flew in the Yugoslav skies. One of the 133 last fighter piston aircraft in JRV ( Jugoslovensko Ratno Vazduhoplovstvo - Yugoslav Air Forces) ...
According to drawings from the magazine AEROPLAN 4/89, it is stated that the remains of American marks and numbers could be seen on some planes under the Yugoslav markings . Never found anything that confirms or denies this fackts so I let my imagination run wild ...
The model is Eduard and is  OOB
To show the size of the plane ( it's 1/144 scale), I made a figure of a pilot. Painted with Vallejo Metal Color, all decals are homemade.

  6. Figure is 1/35 ( Zvezda I think), More than on figure I was focused on the base

I don't like aftermarket things so, whenever I can, I do some homework ...

  7. Recently I made Roden's C-47  in Yugoslav markings. This one represents  DACoTA ( Douglas Aircraft COmpany Transport Aircraft )  C-47 B-10-DK produced in Oklahoma City ( c/n 14811/26254), ex USAF 43-48995/ex RAF KJ 964, received in JRV at march 25. 1954 and registered with number 7325. Since 1968 this aircraft is re-registered in 71216 and was located at Zagreb's  Pleso airport.
As my mind left me many years ago, I wanted to do it with the cargo door open. Here are some photos  ...

As you can see there was a bit of scratching; painted with a brush using Vallejo paints, all decals are my production as I wanted this particular aircraft. All figures are "homemade" ( this were some of my first "babies")...

That's all folks, thanks for your time ... and sorry for my poor english
