The entire F-22 / O2 fiasco is already being discussed here:
http://s362974870.onlinehome.us/forums/air/index.php?showtopic=241974&st=60
Although heads should role for the AF's handling of this issue, I still have some real issues with active duty US military officers refusing an assignment and then going on national TV to air their issues.
It kinda sets a precedent for the next 19-year old Army PFC who has an problem taking a particular MRAP outside the wire in Afghanistan.
Speaks VOLUMES of just how serious this issue is and to what extent the USAF has gone to sell out their airmen while providing cover for Lockmart.

Here she is about to leave. We would have gotten killer shots had they used Runway 1C. The high winds however, required a Runway 30 departure. Note how clean Enterprise is compared to Discovery.

great shots Dave!
Thanks Ken. The shoot would have been much better had PAO put the media on the correct side of the runway. Anytime you hear these words, "the base videographer picked out a great spot," RUNAWAY, RUNAWAY! Just as I did, leaving the base and shooting over the fence with the sun over my shoulder.

The Great 2012 Turkey Shoot, Seymour Johnson AFB, 16 April 2012. The 4th FW launched seventy (70) Strike Eagles in one and a half hours. Needless to say, I was busier than a one legged waitress at IHop.

Gregg,
I think it did. I photographed it at Cecil Field in the 90s.

Here's a shot of the F-18D that went down a week ago.

Please don't take offense, but the Huffington Post is the last outlet I would link to in regard to any news story. Have any of you read the disgusting comments left by some in the comments section?

Notice in the photo, one AB can is closed and the other appears to be open?

90 years old. Read on...

I met Howard on a couple of occasions and he was a very conservative performer..and his aircraft were all in top shape. Rest in peace Howard.
I too am 77 and still flying and After many thousands of hours in nearly 90 different types of aircraft, I think that I can still teach you kids a thing or too about flying.
Barney
Thanks Barney. I work out at the gym next to a couple guys in their seventies. And without a doubt, they could kick the butts of the majority of keyboard punchers out there.

Thanks. I celebrated with a sixty-one mile bike ride. One mile for every year. Sure hope I don't live to see one hundred.

Are any of these posters in their 70's? Are any of them pilots. If not, STFU!

Gots lots of reference material.

I just read an interesting story concerning Chinese Malware which is pervasive today in every computer operated by our water, power, sewage, municipal, government and military.

To Dave Brown, I recently noticed a section in Zone Five dedicated to the A-6 intruder "Gone but Not Forgotten" where you had many pics deleted I'm assuming due to Copyright issues. Sadly this problem is causing many great photographers to pull their images, which I completely understand. Is there any website where I can still find these images? Thanks.
Yes, for copyright and I am in the process of dumping PhotoBucket for security reasons.

Jake, I'm with you. No more postings from me either. I'm sure there are other photographers on here with archives numbering in the tens of thousands of images dating back to World War I. Sorry guys, if you want some references, send me an Email and I'll quote you my price.
Cheers,
David F. Brown

Note to all. I will no longer be posting or linking any of my images here until this Jackwagon Roo goes away.

Gregg
Yes they were and VF-211 wore the check to honor them.

I'll have to look through the archives. Sounds like a mystery fit for a retired police Detective Sergeant.
