The real deal.
Mark
a bit strange to compare a side kit with an angled photo (watch the right leg).
Hope somone can compare the kit over daco drawings

a not 100% right (but better than Aires OOB) is Fisher's ones , I've taken the "Full Meal Deal" Set and I'm very pleased now
-
Check often ebay, I have found mine for less than 30 euros,
be warned also that kit decals tends to yellowing like an old frog! and no aftermarket exists (!?)...
-
It's a mere loss of time to compare chips in front of a pc where every monitor have a different RGB balancement...
Right MM 36440 is simply perfect.. use it..I have tried also lifecolor one: it's more "cold" (missing a bit of red component) and lighter ... very good instead to weathering central panels

Be aware that early phantom used martin baker MK.5 not the "famous" MK.7

Very interesting, still looking for drawings and elbow grease :)

Hi folks,
I'm looking for scale drawings of the early external camera pod used on early USAF F-4C in Vietnam. (Tipically mounted on TER with or without bombs)
I attach this photo taken from Osprey combat aircraft 45.
Author (Peter Davies) report: "This 'photo chase' configuration was used early in the war to film strike missions by other Phantoms IIs.."
..other images display pod with other two mk.117 (No problem during the releasing payload?)
On the new DACO Publications Book (Us Navy Phantom) at page 171 there is a closeup photo stating "On MER station 4 is the Navy's LM-119 Camera pod that will be used to film the delivery..."
Can be the pod in the Osprey photo an LM-119? (note also the Navy style pylons on early Vietnam F-4C)
Do you know also if there are something ready on 1/48? (Also cottage resin is very appreciated!)
Thanks

Do not be afraid Laurent, a special expeditionary task force is just sent for searching the lost treasure (esci have made secret molds many years ago..)

Get an Eagle Designs conversion: simply the best choice on 1/48 kfirs :)

Incredible photos, thanks for sharing! :D

After F-102 and A-37 (monogram rebox with plenty of extras) I'm very curious about Encore future projects.
Any news?
Cheers from Italy

cutting edge is out of businness, use the Dmold ones, they are better than CE

Please direct your energy to focus on making good DMold products and rebuilding your reputation.
Dmold must build up reputation?
And "who"clone aires parts what must build up? (His pocket with your blessing?)
...some people have a great sense of humour here...
-
Look, something seems awfully fishy here. There are claims being made that the S-3 intakes were definitely pirated, that the A-7 intake (Cutting Edge?) has an Aires wheel bay attached and that many of the products show signs such as the same scratches as Cutting edge parts. You may well be right with your accusation but you are making unfounded claims that need to be backed up. Complete information has not been presented.
Just because I am fishy ....
Sorry for the poor airbrush wash, but with white resin comparison photo was not good.
And just for complete information: I do not take money to defend anyone, I called a doubt about intake trunk after having discovered the aires bay. (I wrote that I have not CE set).
I will buy other Rhino sets in the future? Yes, if he makes products without stealing hard work from other manufacturers, otherwise I will be happy to give my money to the true master.

Some of you probably remember a similar story which happened on ebay for a couple of years ago when a person whose name was Paul Miller was selling fake copies of the DMold stuff via his account on ebay.
rhino3401? Bingo!
Maybe her sister... Elena Miller.
Paypal do not make mistakes.

If he is above board then why isn't he defending himself, as every business person I know of would be protecting their interests.
Hi scotthldr, I was happy to have bought in the past original dmold stuff from you, the answer of your question is simple: he sell lot of sets, check the dates of his new profile feedback on ebay ..
Finally a personal consideration: people believe that ARC has more visibility of ebay? imho not.. ebay is tremendously larger place!
I bought in the past rhino a-7 seamless in good faith and I think (also after this post) most of modellers in the world will do if can't read this post!.. asking here do not buy from ebay is like asking people do not watch football..put something into ebay at the same time with lot of images, comparisons, link to ARC... everything can advise people to understand something..
-
I bought a few months ago the Rhino seamless for the A-7 corsair II, and I noticed that the wheel bay is an exact copy of the Aires (I have the wheel bay set), but I do not know the rest of the trunk ..

Try this DMOLD

I've purchased many of his set in the past, and I confirm that it was difficult to find his products in Europe. A good man (from britmodeller) helped a lot, but of course I think he had lost many (businness)opportunities.
I think he should give more information also in his future project, watching in the new site we see a lot of very very interesting wip: F-4H1 conversion, F-4E(S), tracer... but what's the scale? what is the (estimate) release date? (not be worried about precision..most of the producer do not respect the date..)
...creating expectations.. so people talk a lot .. the better way to do marketing
He have great skills and the quality of his products are outstanding, so we need a lot of his stuff
Finally sorry for my poor english.
Cheers from Italy
