    Who makes the best 1/48 Spitfire kit

    Thanks Everyone. I am not new to modelling, just new to Spitfire's. I am liking the looks of the Mk 5 and 9's. So, Tamiya sounds like the way to go. I appreciate everyones help. Noticed a bunch of Hasegawa's on Evilbay. Are they any good? Thanks again for all your help. I am generally a kerosene burner guy, but trying my hand at new(older aircraft) things. Thanks Gentlemen!

    Need help with an A-7K

    Hello. If anyone can help, I am building an A-7K and want to replace the seats. I was wondering if anyone could help me with what type of Ejection seat the K model used. BTW, I want to build an Air Force version. I am not sure if the NAVY used a different seat. If anyone can help it would be appreciated! Thanks!

    LF A-7D LV tail code decals

    Hello Everyone. I am looking for some decals for an A-7D. They have the Las Vegas LV tail code. I know that Hasegawa had these decals in one of their kits for the A-7D in 1/48th scale. If anyone has this set that they are not going to be using, I would really like to buy them from you. Please send a pm if you have them and are willing to sell or trade.

    Where to begin? Just finished mine about 4 months ago. Be careful when you install the cockpit. I had to practically refit the entire tub into my fuselage. It wouldn't let the two surfaces mate even close when the cockpit tub was installed! Sand and file and dry fit until you are sure it will fit. I had to almost sand through the bottom of the tub. Also, be very careful when removing the parts from the sprue trees. The plastic is very soft compared to other brands. This will save you time when you are in the fill and sand stage of building. The only other problem I had was that the detail on the IP was terrible. Get yourself a good Photo Etch set for it and you will be fine. Also, cut off the locator tabs on the Conformal tanks and just fit them on. The locator tabs cause issues. If you have any other questions during the build, feel free to pm me. Best of luck!
