FineMolds announced a Model 52 Zero today. Interesting break down of parts! Alternative canopy with separate frame or "traditional" canopy. Two versions of after exhaust panels depending who manufactured the original. Lots of slide moulding. . . One of the mottos for the kit is Made in Japan! : ) : ) Some heads are not really going to be amused at Eduard. Here is a video of the announcement with lots of background info. Best regards Gabor

Here is a bit of excellent news for anyone interested in 72nd scale. Modelsvit already had a long line of excellent kits of the swing wing Su-17 family. They are real gems! Modelsvit did promise few years ago to go all the way to the last operational version, the Su-17/22 M4. At last here it is. Just look at the amount of detail in that cockpit! Remember this is "just" 72nd scale!!! Dear friends and business partners, Many of you have been waiting for a decent, 3D designed, highly detailed 1/72 kit of Su-17/22M4 (S-54/ S-54K, "Fitter-K"). Well, finally we made it! So

Here we go with Mark 2 version. This is a little strange. For more than a month there was a thread here on ARC about the upcoming Mi-8MT kits in 48 th scale from Trumpeter and Zvezda. Two days ago (Nov. 15) somehow it vanished as if never existed. I have asked several ARC Administrators about this, receiving only from one person saying that it is not his decision neither responsibility and he could not be of any help. Others did not respond. It would be nice to know what happened and why the thread disappeared so suddenly. If there is any response from Administrators I will

Not so much as a build but more as a look at the actual plastic now that it is at hand. A lot has been said before based on what was shown by FineMolds over the past year of the making this new kit. Now there is a chance to have a look at the plastic parts first hand. I am surprised that there are virtually no builds of the kit apart from Japanese forums, where many have been completed and painted. After all so far mostly Japanese special schemes were issued. Here are some photos of the plastic for everyone to judge for themselves. One b

OK, so what is waiting for us in the new Eduard box with this next Fishbed in line in 72nd scale. After the two version of MiG-21 MF and the just released PFM version it was obvious that the next will be the PF version. On common sprue H there were already some parts like the ejection seat and cockpit panels along with small bits and pieces. The transparent sprue also had other parts together for PFM and PF. The only brand new sprue is G which has the new fuselage, early wings with all associated parts. So let’s have a look at the parts.

G.W.H is to release in November a new tool B-52H kit in 144th scale Haneto given a short but very informative news on the kit giving most answers to questions regularly asked by modellers: "As far as I heard there will be G and H, but no D or F (my favorite, pity). GWH 144 kits are mostly collaborate with their Japanese agent Pit-Road, which means most cases Pit-Road chose what to do and participate in the design work. I have played T1 parts of this kit and fitting was as good as always (cannot say accuracy since not a B-52 guy), especially it was quite impre

Has this been shown? I dont think so. Mr. Sulc has shown some of the first test sprues of the brand new 48th scale Spitfire Mk.1 Till now only CAD images were shown. This is the real plastic! I am not so much into the Mustang but this looks nice. Here are the controversial positive rivets on the fuselage. Best regards Gabor

I dont know if this has been shown already or not. Fresh announcement from Zvezda for a brand new 72 nd scale Sukhoy Su-57 fighter. Look at the engine exhausts! It is a completely new tool kit with all the latest additions and using the available data. At last we can forget for good that “strage” kit of the T-50 from way back in 2011. Just hope that they will do the same up-scale to 48 th as they did with the Yak-130. Best re
