Karaya-1
Just an experiment, really. Something a bit more esoteric, for your enjoyment. The Balloon Race that is the Saturday prior to the Indy 500. May, 1996 Taken with my 4x5 Crown Graphic, 135mm f/4.7 lens, on Fujichrome Velvia. You can see from the car in the foreground that the shutter speed was pretty slow....facing essentially due west, so from the shadow it's WAY early in the morning...and there was a pretty healthy fog just burning off. When I got there & set up, I could barely see across the street, let alone the half mile to those balloons. Without further ado - here you go! And Comments welcome. -Kevin in Indy {SuperBowl, Baby!} Um......those are a little big. Ooops. But then the raw scans...at 900 DPI....were just about 90 Megabytes. thevid
Outstanding Sir! Glad to see large format scans here. Thanks! Hot Air ballooning is something everyone should try at least once. David
