roym
Don't know enough about civil aircraft to know the sub-type Aer Lingus used. Don't even know if the Revell kit has the right engines. And is there any 1/144 Aer Lingus 747 decals (tried Max decals... don't know any other manufacturer who does Irish stuff....) Cheers, Roy
pingu1
IIRC, the re-released Revell AG B-747 is based on the -100/ -200 initial production versions, and the interior detail is very generic. It has PW JT9 engines. As far as Aer Lingus decals are concerned, Flightpath do decals in 1/144 for the B-737-200/300/400, the B-767-300 and the BAe.146, but I can't find anything for the B-747. More discussion on the Revell AG 1/144 cutaway B-747 here: http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/index....howtopic=102618 Cheers, Chris. scotty100368
Roy, The majority of the kit releases of the Revell 747-100/200 have the Pratt & Whitney engines that the Aer Lingus version requires, although BraZ Models made better ones. And the decal was done by Flightpath Decals (FP44-376). Both are available from Airline Hobby Supplies (USA). Decals here: http://www.airline-hobby.com/shop/index.cf...amp;ItemID=8501 Engines here: http://www.airline-hobby.com/shop/index.cf...amp;ItemID=6416 Scott.
roym
Cheers guys, knew I could rely on this place! I've got the kit, and I'm not worried how generic the interior is as long as it gives the impression of scale! Thanks again! R
