tomcatter727
I started each of there kits well over a year ago...my glacial building pace is to blame! First off is the hasegawa kit. It was started with the intention of building VF-32 B, but I have now decided to do a VF-41 A model from OEF. Here she is now. Next up as a Revell D. Almost all the the updates to the cockpit and airframe are from scratch; with the PTID display and TACAN antenna from Steel Beach. I seem to change the plan every week or so, but I finally settled for a VF-213 also from the OEF era. The model has been painted overall light ghost gray. I may have lightened the medium gray skunk stripe a bit to much, but oh well? Still a bunch more weathering to do. The bombracks are resin scratch built by Parche. I modified the pheonix pallets to accept them, this is my first time trying something like this so it doesnt look perfect, but I am very happy with it. IMO they look the part!
