For the green usually what I have used for Russian wheels (and nose cones on older ones) is US WW II Medium Green. a good 'green' green, if that makes much sense, versus a 'tan or brown' green (aka olive drab) or a 'blue' green such as Euro One

Wasn't the cockpit a blueish gray on a Flanker? Perhaps a modern Medium Gray? Been a while since I looked at my SS Walkaround book though.

Which colors are you using for the main colors? I think MM II has 'Flanker' colors but I have never used them as I don't use enamels anymore. One of these days I'll have to figure out the acrylic colors from Polly Scale or Acryl for the Flanker whenever we get a new one in 48th.
