a-37 ejection seats

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'm about to build the hasegawa A-37 dragonfly, but the cockpit is awful. Does anyone know what the seats used in these aircraft were and if you can get any resin/white metal ones? Failing that, any tips on how to improve the cockpit for this build.

Thanks

Tim

It was a Weber Aircraft manufactured seat. There were two different headrest cushions used, one flat and the other that was thicker and had a ridge down the middle. The real answer to getting a better detailed Super Tweet  is the Academy kit. It has much improved detail, including the cockpit, over the Hasegawa kit. In addition, there was a Legend resin cockpit designed for the Academy kit, but I'm not sure of the availability of that now or how it might fit the Hasegawa kit.

Regards,

Murph
