If it's the track by Devil Doll, here you go man.......

Liquor Store by Devil Doll

my baby left me down at the liquor store,

i said my baby left me down at the liquor store,

he said i love you baby, but i just can’t drink no more.

and i said hubby-daddy, what are you buggin’ for?

yeah well i saw you with that blonde on the danceroom floor,

well i ain’t said nothin’ now i want one more.

i said my baby left me down at the liquor store,

i said my baby left me down at the liquor store,

he said i love you baby, but i just can’t drink no more.

he said oh why you, why you, why you always do me like that?

you won’t even talk to me while you’re drinking your coke and jack.

but you’ll talk to all the other guys and that’s a fact.

and i said hey baby, i love you as much as i can,

but there are certain things i just can’t find in a man.

cause when i’m through with you by the end of the night,

i can always stand.

i said my baby left me down at the liquor store,

i said my baby left me down at the liquor store,

he said i love you baby, but i just can’t drink no more.

hey bartender, give me a sweet and get me dry,

give me a hard time and i’ll spit in your eye.

cause i just want a drink and that’s it,

and ain’t takin’ no one’s ****,

so get your hand off my ***, think i’m a *****?

man, you ain’t seen nothing yet.

i said my baby left me down at the liquor store,

i said my baby left me down at the liquor store,

he said i love you baby, but i just can’t drink no more

The song begins as a young man visits his neighbor, telling him of some car troubles he's been having. He assures the neighbor that if he assists him by giving him a ride to work, that he will, as soon as his car is repaired, bring his neighbor along on a trip to the liquor store, where he will buy him the tipple of his choice as a way to repay his kindness.

The neighbor, who is apparently narrating the song, finds himself greatly looking forward to this trip, as both he and his family have long enjoyed the pleasures associated with Bacchanalia.

In the second verse, the narrator relates a separate episode, telling the story of a time when he found himself with only two dollars to spend at the liquor store. This was a rather insufficient amount, and he weighed the advantages of raising some additional funds for his expedition by selling some surplus tools to a secondhand dealer. He reflected upon the fact that his wife would be away for most of the evening, which only fueled his desire to reach the liquor store ASAP. Because of this, he asked whoever may have been listening if they might show some charity by driving him to the liquor store.

In the third verse, the narrator weighs his transportation options for a liquor store expedition. He considers one of his vehicles inappropriate for that particular trip, but his other vehicle is in need of repairs. He briefly considers walking, but quickly rejects the idea. Having apparently found a suitable vehicle, he sets off, but soon becomes so impatient for a taste of his adult beverage of choice that he considers stopping by his local tavern on the way to the liquor store.

Finally, he repeats that his wife will be away for most of the evening, and asks again if someone might be able to give him a ride to the liquor store.
