Leo Etgen
Hi guys I came across this link in which Master Model has announced that they will be releasing three armament sets for the Fw 190 A-series in 1/32 scale. The sets are for the Fw 190 A-2 through A-5, the Fw 190 A-6 and the Fw 190 A-7 through A-9. I also am aware that Aber has available an armament set for the Fw 190 A2 through A-6 in 1/32 scale as well. The differences that I see are that the Aber set includes full length barrels for the MG 17 cowl mounted machine guns and the wheel well fairings for the MG 151/20E cannons are a two part arrangement rather then a single tube as Master Model has it. Looking at the drawings included in the Fw 190 A-8 hand book I get the impression the Aber arrangement is more accurate in this regard. http://www.aber.net.pl/detal,952.html Any comments or corrections will be greatly appreciated. Horrido! Leo
