Johnny_K
Following are photos of my Tamiya Mig 15. This is an older kit dated 1996. Typical of most Tamyia kits, it goes together well. The kit that I chose to build is a Chinese version of the Mig 15. The tail is painted Tamiya Italian Red with a Testors' Clear Dulcoat. The main wings and front fuselage are finished in Bare Metal foil. I wanted the model to look like it has been on the battle field for a while so I dirtied it up with a black wash. One nice thing about this kit is that it includes a nose weight to prevent the model from being a tail sitter. I wish more kits included weights. The Mig 15 and the F-86 are both from the same era. However; the Mig 15 is smaller than the F-86. Plus, the Mig's main wing is located in a different location that the F-86 and the tail is dramatically different.
