Curt B Posted August 19, 2020 Share Posted August 19, 2020 Hi All, I'm currently building the 1/48 Tamiya P-47M (61096), and while I've searched, I've not been able to answer my question. The instructions indicate that there are 2 parts to be glued into the bottom center of the fuselage, and these 2 parts each have 2 anti sway mounts. I would like to use the kit included 'flat' 150 gallon fuel tank, and the mount for that tank is basically a thin slab of plastic that fits into a front to back slot in between the anti sway mounts. The question is, if I use that flat tank, do I leave the anti sway mounts in place? It doesn't look like the anti sway mounts would meet up with the body of the flat tank. So, do those anti sway mounts just remain in place? Or, should they be removed? Or, am I just not seeing how the anti sway mounts will, in fact, end up contacting the flat tank? HELP, please!
