Kershaw123 Posted May 1, 2023 Share Posted May 1, 2023 Hi - this is aimed at all you Luftwaffe buffs out there! Trying to work out the pilot of bf109e 3579. I know Hans - Joachim Marseille and Kurt Hammel are linked with this air raft, but I have heard that a Leutnant Geisshardt is mentioned in connection with this a/c in 1941. My query is would this be the eichenlaubtrager Friedrich Geisshardt? The unit seems to tally, and Geisshardt was promoted to Oberleutnant in 1942, but any thoughts or comments most welcome.
