Red Dog
Hi gents, I am looking for pictures to better understand the mechanism of the main gear retraction of a F-15 The idea here is of course to have the F15J on a stand, just after take off with the gear in transit. The nose gear is done already and it's quite simple. I looked in the lockon books I have but no picture helps me better understand the complicated rotation and retraction of the main. It looks like the gear retracts forward and the wheel rotates inwards at a certain point. What about the struts, does it rotates with the wheel? I suspect so but any source of info would be appreciated Thanks
