gremlin6
I've noticed in APACHE News that most foreign AH-64D operaters have the new Arrowhead (M-TADS/PNVS) installed to they're aircraft, how about the US Army, do they have the new Arrowhead installed? And I wonder if it would be easy to scratchbuild this new sighting system... Any good and detailed photos of the Arrowhead available?
Cobrahistorian
The only nation I've seen with an Arrowhead installed is Japan and that's because they were testing it. It has not been fielded yet because there are still some issues to be worked out. Jon

Actually the Netherlands Apaches have been fitted with Arrowhead, as well as Singapore and Kuwait, the UK is next from what I have been told and read recently.
Dr. Plastic
I have been told that there area few units that have them fielded in Iraq. A close friend of mine has been globe trotting around to various units training the crews on maintenance and operation.
Cobrahistorian
Scott! Good to see ya on here! Been a while. MTADS has been fielded with several units overseas, but the new PNVS hasn't made it just yet from what I've heard from buddies in those units. MTADS is unbelievable. MPNVS will be even better! Dr. Plastic
Hey Jon I have been in slump for the past year. Only got about five things done since the beginning of the year. Mainly because I picked up another hobby,a 2008 Harley Davidson Sportster 1200 Low. I am currently working on the 1/72nd scale RoG UH-72 Lakota. How have you been? How's school or have you graduated from that already? Edited November 12, 2007 by Dr. Plastic

Dr. Plastic
They installed a modeled M-TADS and M-PNVS on my trainer. I will try to get some pics. Tell Chris that I plan on doing some masters for the new M-TADS to go along with the standard TADS that I have already done.

Cobrahistorian
Yeah, they are pretty sweet! I'm wondering if the size of that thing upsets our CG limits?! Interesting loadout they're carrying too. No rockets and four live M/N model missiles. Edited November 19, 2007 by Cobrahistorian
