Hi John, and every body, Here are some tips. The black panels are made from Evergreen 0.13 mm plain sheet. I first adjusted all panels before painting them. To do so, I sticked them on tape ribbon. I sprayed Tire black paint with 70% dilution. Thinner the paint is, easier is the scribing for the lettering. You just have to use a thin needle to smothly scratch the paint to let the white styrene appearing. The knobs are from sprue stretched over a flame. All panels are prepared before to definitly glue them on the side console. The arm and wrist rest are scratch built to make then thinner than

Other pics showing that we are able to make the depth we want. Eric

Dear all, The dorsal spine is on the way to be finished. I "sprayed" today the last stiffeners ribs and plates. The method of the tape plus the Alclad grey primer works perfectly. The pics here below show the emplacement of the next stiffeners. I'll be able now to work again on the cockpit. Ah yes, something new: the Academy canopy is deffinitely wrong to fit to the Tamiya kit. I will have to heat the oil to vaccu it like I did on the Mirage 2000D. A new challenge yet! See you next time Eric
