    Avro Lancaster

I'm modelling the R5868, the instruction suggested that the aft section should be left clear, but from the RAF museum it looks like it painted all over with black, so if I want to model it as it served in war should I left the aft section clear ? Regards JJ

    Avro Lancaster

Good day guys, I'm building the Tamiya 1/48 Avro Lancaster, but there are some questions I'd like to ask you guys - Are there any open windows on either sides of the a/c, the color instruction shown that those are painted over, while the finished model pic shown there are still there. - I'm gonna use Tamiya's flat earth and dark green for the camo is it OK ? The a/c I'm building is from B.I R5868 PO/S Thanks for the info guys Regards JJ

    SU 30MKM

Guys, does anyone have a top view of those a/c, i need them so i know the sizeof the shoulders and canards for the MKM. Regards JJ
  13. Hi Dave, thanks for the tips, gotta try it , btw what thinner you use for thinning the oil paint, I always find it uncomfortable if i have to use thinner over my basic paint coat, I've tried tamiya acrylic as base coat, turpentine as a wash, but the acrylic will washed away too, i even tried using tamiya laquer paint (TS-13) as a base coat with enamel washes, it also took away the clear coat JJ
  14. Guys, is there a way to make a raised panel lines model looks as good as the recessed panel lines model ? Regards JJ
