Sounds like they are patches, just out of curiosity, are they custom made for each crack or standard pieces?
I dont even remember lol I think it depended where the cracks were at. The verts flex alot in flight.

The Block 40 community began carrying HTS as early as 2015 when i first visited Osan and Kunsan. I later found them in the ANG Block 40/42 community. One of the goals of CCIP 20 years ago was to bring the 40/42/50/52 Viper community to the same standard/capabilities.

I believe that is what the new CM designation is for.

As far as the vertical stabilizer beef up plates, on stike eagles it was a case by case basis depending on cracks when I was on them. I havent been on them since 2008 though.....

That would be 220, 200 was the F-16 variant

I think there was an idea that there would be a full resurrection but there is nothing on the horizon release wise so far.

That is AMAZING for that scale......

I don't know about the Navy, but in the air force the covers are always on unless you had external power on or the engines were running.

This kit looks amazing. The secondary heater exhaust would look great with PE.

Hi Ben, Murph, BoeingDriver and kellyF15, are the pop up door on the CFT always open, or they are only open when in use, say, starting the engine? Can I be just lazy😂 and scribe the outline of the door instead of rebuilt the whole thing?
Another qustion is about the rockeyes, the Hasegawa instrution says to paint them green, but I've seen some online photos and others' built of them painted white, which should be the correct color?
Thanks again,
Chris
They are open on the ground even with the engine operating. They are the Primary Heat Exchanger inlets.

Yes. The 1/32 F-5 re-release was discussed back in Dec. It’s under the name “Storm Factory”.

I might have missed a post about it, but has there been any talk of another company taking ove Kitty Hawks kit production?

On the plus side, the nose section from the AMT B-52G early should be useful.... I think.....

This would be very nice in 1/72

Great build!

I really want to build this kit, but I'm trying to finish what I've started before I die.....
