  1. OK... first thank you for your support fox, I'm glad you'll enjoy my work. Now let's see what can be done with the landing gear... first let's see the reference material and later the work done... Ok now the 1:72 raptor... This is all for now... I must finnish the struts and attach them to the bays and fix the brake lines... Greetings Antonio
  2. Thanks dudes for all your comments It's very inspiring to feel this support.... well now lets show the central weapons bay fully geared up with cables and lines... Greetings Antonio
  3. Thanks NImrob and Jack-Swiss for your kind comments.... ok so where do we left the raptor... ah ok....main weapons bay... let's do it.... I have to correct the broad intake extension with two split smaller ones, add some details in between and structural ribs... Meanwhile I was doing it I respect the space neccesary for the six retracted weapon pylons in the center of the bay constantly dryfitting them to check the progress... A view of the complete dryfitting... Now let's wire the bird... this would take a while so see you next time Greetings Antonio
  4. Ok... sorry about the delay in the delivery of new pictures but I've being busy at work... let's continue to show the superdetailing of the sidewinder side bays... the pictures shown are ordered chronologically desdpicting a work in progress... At this point I was quite happy for the aspect obtained... But, them, calamity occurs... In detailed pictures I saw that part of the intake trunking is passing throught the side bays... so after long hours of coursing I decided to remake the whole thing.... I won't bore you with destruction pictures, instead this is the final look once corre
  5. Well... Now I began with the sidewinder's bays... some work has to be done here. First: the misile rails are totally innacurate. It has to be resized to the real lenght of the rail. I also built the hidraulic actuator which extend the rail to clear the launch. Now a dryfit to see how's is the work going... I'll continue to scratch the bay and I'll post them next time... greetings Antonio
  6. Once you dry fit the entire cockpit some parts of the upper fuselage had to be resized using an x-acto blade... And finally this is the cockpit glued to the upper fuselage... by the way I apply some wash to the cockpit to increase darkness... Thats all for now.... greetings Antonio
  7. First of all thanks for your comments.... it's really motivational to receive all this support. I checked a resin add on to the 1:48 raptor kit which includes the pivoting arms and support for the glass.... so what a hell.... let's do it I said.. I order to achieve it I had to enlarge the rear part of the cockpit to acommodate the additions... this is the final result: Ok... after this I've being on hollidays (Holly Week) in here (Venezuela) so I had time to paint the cockpit... here are the images.... At this part you can se the front pannel... it's made using the same method

  9. Sorry Dave I'm just start reading your post and I have the exact same project but not started yet could you tell me where did you find the scale plans (blueprints) of this recon mig-25? I qould need one of those for my future project. Thanks Antonio Ces
  10. Yes, thanks for the comment and I don't take it in the wrong way part of me posting here is to know the oppinion of my fellow modelers (critics are welcome)... Indeed the actual position of the gun is not the ideal for shooting without tearing apart the fuselage but (in my defense, jejejje) I must say that if glued the position would have a sly positive angle that cleared the upper barrel as you said... the gun is not fitted yet because I want to paint it first and them attache it... In its moment, once the cannon is painted, I'll show a picture that reflects the clearance of the gun.... Than
  11. OK I built the gun bay trying to keep the original desing between the measures of the kit and the space left by the sidewinder space in the inner fuselage... these are the pictures... hope you like them.... I also added some extra detail to the gun. I put some brackets and support arms according to the real pictures... This is the dry fit of the hole thing... at this stage the gun is loose in its place because paint work have to be done... but it'll be done later... Now lets start with the cockpit... I cleaned the hole tub and started superdetailing it.. first the side pannels and

  14. I didn't like the new generation f-22 beacuse it puts every weapon inside the fuselage and It looks so plain.... I know that the sthealthiness requires to hide everything below deck but...i don't know... well a couple of weeks ago a really good friend of mine ask me if I could build a f-22 from italeri for his office and I had to say yes (he's my lawyer so I exchange my work for it's legal services in the future). This is the kit box, F-22 Raptor Italeri 1:72 box First I put together the four pieces of the fuselage. Two for the upper half and the other two for the lower. Fit is really good

  18. Hello there I'm building a f-22 and I'ld like to scratch the cannon and it's bay. Is there any pictures of the m61a2 cannon and it's bay on the f-22?
  19. OK let's do something about the body of the At-St... First cut out the left leg because it is attacted to the body and it's not correct.... with this plastic surgery we'll put the two legs in similar condition. Second detail all the tubes, hidraulic lines and other mechanical refinemets... By last, I retouch the back of the head for greater accuracy... Greetings Antonio
  20. Yes man... The display base is ready in my mind with a little diorama also... Antonio
  21. Thanks for your kind remarks..... It really mean much to me because It's the first time I dare to share a modelkit in forums. Antonio
  22. Ok next... I changed the claws... the originals had no mojo so (why not) I changed them... bringing more realism and adding some tecnical appearence (sorry about the spelling) Greetings Antonio
  23. Hi... another modification made to the model was the ancles.... the At-St has a shock absorbers in the end of each leg. The originals were too thick and had to be remade... Greetings Antonio
