  1. Hello! I would like to present you my latest work. It's a Hasegawa's MS 406 in 1/72 scale. I added Part's photoetched sheet and Techmod's decals. Model shows a plane flown by pilot Antoni Beda from GC I/2. Due to heavy damage after fight on 11th of June 1940 the plane was crossed out. I used not very accurate paints, thats why brown doesn't look like it should... Next time I'll use french colours for sure :) Here's a gallery: Cheers Alcatraz
  2. Hello! I want to present my latest finished kit which is Academy's Helldiver in 1/72 scale. It's a very nice kit with lots of details and really good fitting. I made it straight from the box. Helldiver is something completly unusual in my collection. Who knows maybe it won't be last us navy deck aircraft? I really enjoyed making that one! :D Cheers!
  3. Hello! I would like to present you my latest finished project. It's a model of polish pre-war fighter - PZL P.7a. It was first, full metal fighter in Polish Air Force. Aircraft was an ancestor of better known P.11. It was solid plane with very good maneuverability. It was perfect machine to train future army pilots. During September 1939 P.7's were obsolete and used up. They were no match for Me-109's. Despite that, some pilots managed to claim few succeses on them. Model shows a personal plane of one of the best polish pilot ever - Leopold Pamula. He was a living legend for pilots he trai
  4. Hello! I would like to present to you my first finished build this year :) It's a resin kit of small, tourist plane, named RWD - 16. The plane itself, wasn't successful. It suffered from a stability weakneses. The problem hasn't ever been solved well enough, so constructors cancelled that project after one aircraft built. Cheers! Alcatraz
  5. Hey! Simply stunning work! Great effort moeggo! Especially the Big War era planes are brilliant. Well done! Cheers Alcatraz
  6. Hello! Here are my builds finished in year 2010. I wish you all, the best time in 2011! All planes are in 1/72 scale. RWD-14b "Czapla" http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/index....=210074&hl= Potez 63.11 http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/index....=209672&hl= PWS-26 "Blind" http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/index....=210945&hl= Supermarine Spitfire Mk XVI http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/index....=212427&hl= Lublin R-XIII ter http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/index....=215023&hl= And my first ship ever ORP "Mazur" (1/400) http://www.arc
  7. Hey! Here is my first ship model ever made! Big difference acording to aircraft modelling but I enjoyed it :P The model shows a small gunnery unit named ORP "Mazur" from year 1939. Here is a short history view: At the begining of war it was very old and obsolete ship. Unfortunately it was destroyed at first day of the second world war. About 14.00 o'clock pm german Stuka bombers attacked the port at Gdynia-Oksywie, where polish small ships docked. The bombing was deadly for Mazur. One bomb hit the pier near the ship damaging the bow, front gun and killing 3 crew members. Few moments later
  8. Hey! After war there were two transatlantic cruisers. First one - "Batory" was built in 1935 and was used untill 1970: Second was "Stefan Batory" built in 1952 and used untill year 2000. If you remember more details you can know which of those two ships your grandmother sailed The border guard cutter used by pilots to escape to Sweden was a small unit. Here is a picture: Thanks for interest! Cheers Alcatraz
  9. Hey! Thank you all for comments! I'm glad you like it :) It was my first water experience so I did alot of tries and errors. First I put Vallejo Water Effects and formed the waves. Next I painted it with Humbrol 91 green black enamel. After that I added lots of different dark "washes". After washes I put the layer of Vallejo still water to secure the paint covers. Finally I added a floor cleaning liquid to make water look glossy. Hope that will help :) Whole personel of "sea" squadron was forced to become regular infranty. They participated in defensive actions at Hel area. A day before
  10. Wow! Thats a lovely build! Painting is just perfect, looks like real machine Thanks for chosing polish aircraft piloted by Michał Brzezowski CONGRATULATIONS! Cheers Alcatraz
  11. Hello! Plane story: At 7th of September 1939 that aircraft made a brave and risky attack using 6 small bombs (12.5kg) and machine gun fire to spoil the german defilade at captured city of Gdansk. The crew: pilot Józef Rudzki and observer Zdzisław Juszczakiewicz were sent to find batlleship Schleswig Holstein but they didn't find it at suspected area. They decied to patrol over city of Gdańsk where they found cheering enemies. The decision was one and only - attack! The air raid was a big suprise for self-confident germans who were sure that polish air force in that region doesn't exist any
  12. Hello! I would like to present to you mine Patrouille de France Alphajet form Heller in 1/48 scale. Model is sttraight from the box. It was a gift for my pilot friend. It should be use like a desk decoration in his office :) Hope you will like it h Cheers Stan
  13. Hello! I would like to present my latest project which is Spitfire mk XVI made from CMR kit (full resin). Model presents the Aleksanders's Gabszewicz plane with his personal nose art (the boxing dog) flown by him in spring 1945. Hope you will like it. Cheers Alcatraz
  14. Hello! I would like to present you my latest build which is the PWS - 26 trainer craft. I made the version for blind piloting. The kit wasn't very good so I needed to improove some thing myself. I've rebulit struts and the "blind" cover. I added photoetched set dedicated for this kit, as well as resin engine. PWS - 26's were a very good and trustworthy aicrafts. I can compare them to Tiger Moth's so you can get an imagination of their flight abbilities. They were adapted to train machine gun shooting as well as bombing. My model presents a plane from well known in Poland pilots school name
  15. Hey! I'm glad you like it! Czapla was one of my first models too, but it looked way different :) To fit PE cockpit into the fuselage I needed to add some plastic wedges to make it wider. Next I had to grind alot of plastic from inner side of the halves. I also changed the shape of cockpit openings. After that operations cockpit fits okay :) Other parts of the PE set are non-problematic. Cheers Alcatraz
