Can anybody find pictures or information of the German RF-4E Phantom 35+43? I'm coming up blank. I think it would have been part of AG52 (52nd reconnaissance wing) and based at Goose Bay. Thought of changing it to 35+34 also but I can only find 35+33 and 35+36. I can't find any photos of 35+34 or 35+35.

I picked up the Hasegawa 7A-Gi kit of the 1/72 F-4S version of Vandy 1. The decals that were included also had markings for the White Bunny, Vandy 5. 1. Vandy 1 originally was F-4J 3783. So is the F-4S 5539 a replacement or was its number changed when converted from a J to an S? 2. The decals for Vandy 5 are of F-4J 8350. Was the White Bunny jet ever an F-4S like the Black Bunny? I only have two photos of Vandy 5 as the white bunny and I’m looking for more. This is one from the web and the other is in the Detail & Scale F-4 Phantom Part 3.

That stinks....I guess I'll keep searching for the deals! Thanks OH, the kits were on ebay and with the starting bids at $20 plus shipping I'll sit this one out. The seller has A D-12, F-8 and a A-8/R11.

Andre, Does the F-4J have slats in the wings or was that part of the upgrade to a F-4S? I was looking at and old Monogram 1/48 F-4J and it does not have the slated wings. Never mind I found this,

Just going by what it says on the box. Does the Italeri F-4S have slats? On both the J and the S the stabilators were slatted so what your saying is the AMT F-4S kit is nether?
-
Yep, thats the one. So anything thats 1/48 and AMT/Ertl would be from ESCI and that F-4E in 1/72. Noticed a F-4G in 1/48 so this would probably be ESCI also. Found this ECSI F-4S on Ebay.

Pete, I sent you a PM.

I know the early kits were by Hasegawa but Who made the others? F-4S 8692 1/72? F-4E BATAAN 1/72? F-4C/D 1/48 (1988)? F-4J 1/48? These might all be from the late 80's but I'm not sure.

I actually came accross three Fw190s while looking at 109s an 190s. Must have come and gone while on hyatus. What is a fair price on these now days and are the white metal & PE parts any good in them?

Is Trimaster still around? I was looking for a home page but can't find one after seeing some of their Bf109s and Fw190s.

Spectre711 replied to Spectre711's topic in The Spares Box - add scale to your title
Thanks again Larry but I just found them tucked away with some old instructions. Not sure why they weren't in the box but now my basement is a mess from tearing through everything. Thanks everybody -

Not sure but it is Minicraft/Hasegawa kit number 1148 and I picked it up in the mid to early 80s. This is one on Ebay. -

Pete, How did you come about the UH tailcodes? I've been looking around and can't find anything with them. ESCI maybe?

Got Ya!

Thanks, I'll see what I can round up over here first if not I'll send you a PM. Here is one and an other.

Going to throw my hat in the ring with a Monogram 1/72 scale EF-111A. The kit decals come with markings for 660051 but I'm told 660015 flew in DS so that should be an easy fix.

Sounds like a plan, thanks guys!
