  1. Hey guys, back to ask a question about Hellfire launchers used in these birds. I don't think this has been talked about in this thread before, but i recently came across this picture which seems to show a launcher that's different from Lockhead Martin's M310 which, if i'm not mistaken, is the Army's standard 2-missile launcher. I did some quick digging and found this lightweight Hellfire launcher by Mace Aviation. They indicate that it can be used in the AH-6, but don't specify whether it's used in Boeing's AH-6i or the 160th's "Mike" models. So my question is whether or not you guys k
  2. Very interesting stuff, LD I came across this a few weeks ago and forgot to share it. It's supposed to be what the Block 3.0 looks like. Note the small angle in the tip of the main rotor, the box on the lower part of the nose, and the instrument boxes on top of the gun rack. Curious to see what you guys can take away from this On a side note, i've been working on a 3d virtual model of this helicopter, and this thread has been incredibly helpful! So thank you all for that!
  3. Yeah you might be right about the tubes! On the last photo you can see that there is a single one between the spotlight and FLIR pod, which has been pretty much in the same position since the "C" models. On the dual tube one, that middle tube is gone. Other things that we probably won't be able to talk about too much are the cockpit changes. This photo was posted on fencecheck.com and was taken on VA Beach in 2013. You can see that there's an additional box on top of the instrument panel and next to it is what looks like a standard Garmin GPS. And here's another photo that i think has been
  4. First off i'd like to thank everyone here for this amazing thread! You guys are doing an incredible job! Now, i've noticed a couple of antennas in recent pictures of the "M" model that i can't figure out when they added it and i thought you guys might like it. These are a pair of antennas(i presume) that stick out of both sides of the FLIR pod. Here are some pictures of "M" models from 2013-2014 with and without them. THESE WERE NOT TAKEN BY ME
