Hi All, my first post here. I'm looking for another place to post my Jet builds so thought I'd throw this up and see what you guys think. This is the Hasegawa J kit with the recessed lines converted to an F-4D flown by the North Dakota Happy Hooligans (my "home" State). This particular jet does not have the IR sensor under the nose so I was able to use the nose in the F-4J kit and just cut off the small lower antenna. I used an Aires cockpit and Eduard exhaust and wheels for the D version. Unslotted stabs from Hypersonic, and stole the nose gear door and pylons from the old Hasegawa F-4C/D kit. I filled in the Navy re-fueling door and scribed in the Air Force type door on the spine, and added a few small antennas here and there. I also cut down and rounded off the antenna on top of the vertical fin to look more like a D version as apposed to the kit's J version. Decals came from Caracals for the Hooligan logo and ANG badge/ribbon. However this sheet is for the older ADC Gray Phantoms so I had to find Hill Gray decals from various sources such as Afterburner/Speedhunter. The Gun pod came from Wolfpack (beautiful but expsensive!!). Travel pods came from AMS. I was aiming for something like this:
