  1. Hi Paul, Thank you very much for your replay, I appreciate. Yes, even dough I'm not ultra expert, I could notice some other things I hope they will fix! PE part for cockpit is the same one used for modern versions, color scheme totally invented (It was sufficient to look at their box art to be more accurate!!). Wrong/ missing spoilers and totally missing pylon blanking plugs (Both items are now provided by "Shapeways 3D printing" at this link: https://www.shapeways.com/marketplace?type=product&q=b-52&s=0#more-products ). For the little window probably I'm a bit too fixat
  2. Thank you very much! I now created this topic in "Jet Modeling", where all the similar topics are. I hope someone will take interest. Till now no one seems to be interested in the early B-52s. I love them! Thanks again for your help anyway, have a good day. Giovanni
  3. Hi everyone, I'm creating this topic related to the Modelcollect early B-52 versions to share some impressions with anyone interested but especially in the hope that Modelcollect will look at it and will consider some small corrections on the next "Early" b-52s releases . I was one of the first buyers, straight from the factory, of the Early G. Although it is clearly more expensive from the factory I wanted to give my small contribution to the good will and effort of Modelcollect. I'm not an "obsessive" modeler but specially after seeing the built of Paul Boyer on this site, I say
  4. I could only manage to post this topic on: Jet Modeling Archived Topics . Is that ok please? Thanks again! Giovanni

  6. Hi, Thanks a lot for the info. There is any chance I can change the section of this post straight into Jet Modelling please? Or I have to create a new post in Jet Modelling? Thank you for the help anyway. I think no one is interested in early B-52s! 🙂
  7. Hi Rick, Is this the Universal Bomb Carrier Rack you are mentioning? If it is that, it shouldn't be difficult to scratch build one. By the way, for sure you know more than me, have you heard anything if Modelcollect will correct the clear part for the early B-52s or if anyone is going to produce a correction? I bought the early G, I like it very much but the "cockpit front top window" is obliterated, this is wrong as in all early models, even during Vietnam war, this was still a window. I hope a correction will be done as it is very visible. Giovanni

I'm not an "obsessive" modeller but especially after seeing the built of Paul Boyer on these pages, I say that the model looks, to me, very nice! I really like it! It has very elegant lines! The flaps are beautiful! Well done! With all respect, It is 1000 times better than Amt/Italeri model (Sorry to all the AMT/Italery sustainers). You can clearly see the effort Modelcollect did in listening to modellers and correcting the nose etc... However, t

  10. Yes, my favorite scheme too! Simple, elegant, with nothing hanging....no hound dogs etc... Just the pure machine!
  11. Thank you very much for the precise indication Rick, very useful! I'll search for it. Also, If anyone here would have any picture of the part it would be very welcome! Thank you again!
  12. Yes exactly, I've already bought, from that site, In the past, all I bought from there was very nice but as caudleryan is saying, almost everything is out of stock unfortunately. Then an other problem is that I can't find a lot of material on how was the bomb exactly connected into the bomb bay so It would be nice, at least for me, if Modelcollect, would straight put these options (Like Mark 39s, etc....) into the box. From what I'm seeing they are doing a nice job with the interiors. I really like their B-52G 1966 version with B 28 bombs... the "Chrome Dome" stuff. That's the initi
  13. Yes exactly, with a correct dark blue "SAC milky way" and correct SAC badge on the left side: Monogram got it almost right and perhaps 2 Mark 39 bombs...
  14. Thank you, I know They are doing an early H version, in fact I was hoping for a more "standard all silver and white" decal option included in the box. Something like the picture I've attached, sorry for the very poor quality! Anyway for that I think there is around a decal sheet from Warbird. And thank you very much, I'm very pleased to know that all the releases will have the flaps extended option! That makes a big difference. I also hope they will do a correct early G-H cockpit. It's very easy to find early D's cockpit photos. I couldn't find anything about an early G-H, all analog
  15. I heard around that they should release the early G at the beginning of 2019, now probably around February but I hope there will be no delay due to the reshaping of the nose etc... Anyway the pictures of the H model are very promising and they look very accurate, I like those flaps! (They should add them also to the G series). I have the temptation to buy one H now and do it in an early version. I'm seeing that they are planning very colorful D and H Early versions. To be honest, I was hoping that they also include decals for more standard versions (Just "Silver and White" with a
  16. Dear Modelcollect, I think you're doing a great job! Especially you're active listening to opinion and advises from modelers: which is great! I'm really looking forward for the EARLY D,G,H series to come out, I will buy a good number for sure! I think, as someone else is suggesting, the idea of also use an old Monogram kit as a guide it's very true. Monogram kit were extremely accurate in shape!! I wish I could give my small contribution with some pictures but the system only allows me a very limited space for a picture, probably because I'm a new member? I don't know. It's a bit frustrating b
