Paul Boyer what a gorgeous build, and honestly....I like the dark pic of it better.
Not me, that beauty belongs to Aigore!!!

Aircraft can't be patriotic. People with flags and banners only look patriotic. It is in the deeds we do that we can find patriotism.

C'mon, Dutch! Haven't you ordered the Tamiya 1/48 B-52D already🤣?
-
Yup! That is the one!

Welcome to the Internet! Once you put something out there, you'll never be able to "protect" it or call it your own again.😐

Very nice!

Beautiful job and a great kit!

Some of these commemorative displays are just too much to look at. Not a fan of this one.😒

Nope. A local guy here did the FSM review of the Nova vac kit back in the early '80s, but I never did one. I've been hoping for an injection kit for 50+ years now.

YES! But I broke down and recently purchased a resin Anigrand C-141 for my Vietnam collection. At first glance, the moldings look better than those I viewed years ago. Don't know if I lucked out or if they have better quality control now. But the lack of a good quality injection-molded 1/72 C-141 is still a disappointment. That and a good T-38, RF-8, F-86A, F-86E, C-124, C-133 . . . .🙄

Now if Kinetic would just finish the 1/72 scale kit, Kursad can make some more decals (as if he doesn't do enough!).

Little question marks in little blue boxes for me.😕

Beautiful! Thank you Kursad!
Would it be safe to assume that there will also be a corresponding sheet for the new Roden 1/144 KC-135R kit using many of the same bomb wing subdued artwork for the Shamu scheme?
What was that old chewing gum advertisement with the cute twins? "Double your pleasure, double your fun!"
Doublemint, Doublemint, Doublemint Gum!

I have the 1/72 scale Model Aire International resin kit and it looks great in the box. I also have the 1/72 scale RVHP kit and it has decals for one in light gray with the white/dark gray cheat line and national insignia!

No one has seen anything on the kit because the kit hasn't been released yet. Or maybe even produced yet.

Harder to believe the Eagle is 51 years old now. And that the Tomcats are all museum pieces - first flew in 1970! Getting old sucks!

Phantoms on Essex-class carriers might have caused fits with the deck crews since they didn't have regular operations on them. Not impossible, of course. They did carry heavier aircraft (Skywarriors), but the Essex-class CVAs were usually equipped with F-8s, A-1s and A-4s. I think only one or two of the old ships got A-7s before decommissioning.

And I have a request re: Orions. I have obtained a built Hase kit which is going to need a refinish. I hope to use an aftermarket sheet, but the main stumbling block is the stenciling with the curved wing walks. The built kit's wingwalks have yellowed badly and will need to be replaced. Will you be providing stencils and wing-walks with the new sheet?

Niiiiiice!
Problem with 1/72 Esci F-111A
in Jet Modeling

I tried building one a few years ago and gave up - and that's says a lot for me. There was something terribly wrong with the cockpit on mine and it was unfixable. Found a Hasegawa A model on eBay and finished that right quick. The Esci kit is in a landfill. Hase is reissuing the A model kit, so you may want to go that route.
