The closue-up photo showing the tank, HARM, etc. is great (2c0e7eac.jpg). The weathering on the tank reminds me of what I've seen on static displays at airshows. Great attention to detail, and a really excellent job! Billy Goodman

Thanks so much, that is exactly the kind of info I needed. I already have the KP Mig-21 kit, and the Linden Hill decals, but wasn't sure if the MF was the right version. I was also not aware that the Fujimi kit was just a reboxed BIS. I'll see if I can take some of these links and pictures and figure out the differences. It looks like the Lancer has a number of fairings added, but I take it that the general fuselage is the same shape as the MF. The cockpit looks like a fun project. Billy Goodman

Hello, For no other reason than I kind of like the paint scheme, I am wanting to build a Romanian Mig-21 Lancer, and am looking for any relevant details anyone would care to share. I don't think there is an actual 1/72 scale kit of the Lancer itself, so I am looking at a conversion. I was wondering in particular, which version of the Mig-21 would be the best to start with for such a conversion. I don't know a lot about the details of the Lancer update, or exactly what has been done. I can find plenty of pictures, but little specific information on the physical changes, if any. Any help would
