A lot of people use carpaint grey primer for all models and paints and it works great.

There's nothing to that kit, hardly worth the bother! I got it for £2 and thought at that price, ive got little to lose lol

I picked up a cheap 1/48 Huey made by starfix models and have to say its the worse model ive ever had. The airframe is seperate to the kit and is way bigger than 1/48. The rest of the kit comes on a sprue and is probably off a 1/72 kit. Shocking, only 51 parts and one of those is an arm, you get a figure complete, except for his arm. Parts for parts sake imo, if you see one and its cheap, its cheap for a reason.

Im using Alclad Primer and microfiller as well as their airbrush cleaner and im getting very good results from both. But I find them very expensive at £4.50 for 120ml is there anything out there thats as good but cheaper? I believe the airbrush remover is just amonia isnt it?
