bonfire79
For the academy OH-58D kit- Are the overhead "bubble" windows over both of the pilots heads supposed to be clear green, smoke or just clear??? I can't find any references. Thanks Ben NIelsen acdc79@usa.com
Cobrahistorian
From what I can tell, they're either smoke or clear. The prototype had green tinted greenhouse windows, and I believe the early production ones did too. Looking at the pics I've got, there seems to be some darker tint to it, but as you can see in the above picture there doesn't seem to be much tint. Jon
Vandy 1 vx4
I just looked up my photos. We have almost black (limo tint), Slightly lighter shade of that. A clear Green and last clear. The clear is not on a OH-58 D it is a earlier bird. Just went through photos aging. 90% of the Deltas are Dark or REAL DARK. But from the inside out they are clear. Just like the photo that Cobra posted.
Cobrahistorian
I just looked at some of the Kiowas we've got out on the flightline after my flight this morning. They're definitely a dark smoke. Jon
