Spunk-Y
I got a small question about German WW2 bombs, I'm building my Arado E.555. I'm not sure what kind of color the German bombs where. Can anybody here help me? thanks in advance.
Mark M.
A lot of them were dark grey or a shade of grey. Depending on the size of the bomb, and the type, some were a dark shade of green, but I don't have specific shades or RLM numbers.
bilkeau
65, 02 and 70 were popular colours for Luftwaffe bombs. Personally, I don't get too hung up on ordnance (geddit?), but here's a handy little page that should guide you through this particular minefield. And a couple of pics: Note the camo on the bomb dolly! Nick

dogsbody
Are you going to paint as per the instructions or are you going to make up your own scheme? Please post pics when you're done. I haven't started mine yet and would like to see what someone else might do. Edited January 15, 2008 by dogsbody
