abandoned armor

This is a Whirblewind (probably not spelling that right). It sat on the shelf for a while in standard camo. I later found some stuff at Michael's that allows you to rust anything. It's a 2 part mix. The first is a paint with metal mixed in (I guess), and the second is a solution that rusts the metal overnight. So that's actual rust on the kit!

In the kit's second incarnation, I reworked it as if it hit a mine and lay abandoned in the woods. Eventually, I'd like to put a couple of kids climbing around on it with a father watching them. After looking at these pictures, I think I need alot more ground cover (more leaves and a patch of grass or two). The big tree isn't growing out of the turret, some of the "leaves" have just drooped down into there.
