KursadA
Today was the date of the roll-out ceremony of the first prototype "Anka", the indigenous Turkish UAV that is similar to the US Predator and Israeli Heron UAVs in capabilities. It is expected to be armed by the indigenous "Cirit" missile (essentially a laser-guided 2.75" Hydra rocket). This might be my next scratchbuild project:

KursadA
Got pics of the Cirit? What else uses it? Cirit will be initially used on the Turkish Army AH-1P/S/W, and eventually on the T-129 (Turkish version of A-129 Mangusta with indigenous radar/sensors and Comanche engines). It is in limited production, and proved to be very accurate in extensive testing..Apparently the Australian Army is also interested in it, perhaps we might even see it on the Tiger in the future.
