Legacy Hornet question (F/A-18A-D)

Recommended Posts

Hello all! I was wondering if anyone could help me with some info.

I'm looking for maximum control surface deflection for the ailerons, rudders (yaw and toe-in), horizontal stabs for pitch and differentially for roll.

Thanks for any information you can provide!

Hi Jamal,

Just went through my NATOPS Flight Manual for the F/A-18AC and it doesn't give the flight control deflections you're looking for. The only deflections given are for the TE flaps.

Probably need a Hornet mech to chime in on this one.

Cheers,

John

Thanks for trying, John. That was the first place I went to also. Very odd that max deflections aren't listed! Figured it'd be a required baseline for the FCS check!
