Lock n' Load
Um, what? Are you talking about the Beaver tail?
catfan
no the area i am talking about is the engine nozzle shroud area. OK to better explain this area to model builders it is the area on the aircraft that on the f-14a+ f-14b and f-14d is made out of carbon fiber. on the f-14a this area is metal. so what i am asking is if you were to take a f-14a. and flip the aircraft on its back and look at this area would it be smooth or would there be groves or a pattern if i could post a picture i would. catfan
OK thats the part I'm talking about so what I'm wondering is near the bottom part is that area smooth or is it grooved like the academy kit??
Mike F6F
It is grooved all the way around on the aft end of the TF-30. Mike
Lock n' Load
There is one panel though, which is not ''grooved'' it's where the fairing is located and it is the only smooth part in the TF-30 cans.
catfan
is that on the top or bottom of the shroud??
