Yes, I realize there are a ton of threads on which airbrush to buy but I'm going to post another, sorry  .

I think I'm going to finally cave in and buy a new airbrush. I currently have a Pasche VL and a VJR both of which were broken box specials when I bought them. In fact my VJR was literally picked out of a box full of random parts in exchange for 10 bucks.

Both brushes have served me well up until now but I'm thinking I'm ready to retire VL. I've been going back and forth between a few brushes; the Iwata Eclipse, Iwata Revolution and the Badger 360 to name a few but one thing I was wondering about though was other peoples experience with side feed airbrushes. My VJR is a top feed and my VL is a bottom feed so I've never used a side feed airbrush before.

Also, I tend to work on smaller models; 1/72 and 1/48. I would prefer something that I can achieve fine lines with but still cover a bit of area with (unlike my VJR) so I was also wonder about the single nozzle/needle brushes like the Badger 360. Are they fairly good at fine lines or will I still need a separate brush for fine detail work?

Anyways, any feedback would be appreciated on any of these models or suggestions on others I haven't mentioned.

Thanks

I would suggest a airbrush that will let you change needles/noozles as needed from fine tip to one with a medium tip.

Myself, I use 2-3 different airbrushs but one always has a fine tip and one the medium tip....that's cuz I'm lazy and learned changing back and forth all the time I'd screw the needles up
