Fischer
Hi I am painting some airliners with gloss humbrol paint and I don't know how much time does the gloss paint need, before a second hand of paint.
Pep
im thinking 24 hours to be really safe, gloss enamels are notorious in drying time! they might look dry and all of a sudden you have green fingers.
ThatJeffGuy
24 hours isn't a bad guideline and is good as a minimum for enamels. If it doesn't 'smell' it is cured enough to put the next layer down. Humidity and other variables can extend time so the smell test helps
Fischer
Ok, thanks. Then, I will have to continue tomorrow with the painting.
