I.Martin
Hey again, friends,I´m back with another question.Found in a newsletter that Hasegawa is about to release a 2 in 1 box with the l-1011 in 1/200 scale,as seen here http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10114629 I have the shiny AA plane and must say it´s a wonderful kit and my question is if those ones are the same mold as the AA´s one.If so,don´t mind to add another two to the stash!! Thanks again.Hope to have some time to comment the superb kits seen here, but must finnish two kits for a contest!! I.Martin
I.Martin
Morning guys!!.Well,I´ve to change the meaning of my previous post.I´ve noticed that the kit I´ve got is a MD-11 instead a L-1011,my fault!! :D So now I´d like to know if the Hasegawa´s L-1011 detail quality is similar to the MD-11. And another great news, take a look for the Doyusha´s re-release,BIG,BABY!! http://www.hlj.com/shows/shs11dyspreview.html I.Martin
Model-Junkie
I have not had chance to compare Hasegawa's MD-11 & L-1011 together but the Tristar is an older kit with raised panel lines. The doors have engraved outlines which look a tad bit deep and wide but they should look fine once you add a coat of paint.
