JackMan
Old inkjet printer died. Got a new HP Color LaserJet CP3525 Series Printer. Some of my old Hasegawa aircraft kit decals have yellowed severely & the ol' "put in ziplock bag & paste on window facing the sun" trick doesn't work too well. So now I'm planning to scan the decals & print them out. Now, what would y'all recommend as the best decal paper for colour laserjet printing? Preferably something that I can get off E-bay ('cos some of the specialist decal providers in the U.S. don't support international shipping. Also, the E-bay ones seem to have more quantity for money) Also, something that is thin & goes well with Gunze's Mr. Mark Softer. I'm interested in both the white as well as clear ones. An E-bay search revealed many types but I'd like a modeler's opinion (eg any particular brand, etc). Edited July 5, 2011 by JackMan
Kevin Jongen
On another forum, this link was posted and recommended. http://www.decalpaper.com/ They have paper for both inkjet and laserjet. I personally haven't had any experience with this yet but am about to order some and have a go at making my own decals for Academy's 48th scale P38E as I can't find anyone who makes decals for this kit and the ones that come in the kit are atrocious.
