Dan 88 Posted August 28, 2012 Share Posted August 28, 2012 Poked around today to look for the first T-6's that were recently delivered here to NAS Corpus Christi. All I have to say is WOW. The plane really shows how dated the mighty T-34 is. An interesting piece of info I learned from talking to the civilian folks working on it was that the tires have to be replaced after FIVE bounces (touch and go's). I have a hard time believing the Navy would sign for an aircraft that goes through tires like that.... Anyway, just wanted to share a few pics with ya! Sporty looking plane. Nice cockpit....
