Hajo L. Posted February 4, 2013 Share Posted February 4, 2013 I´m building the Hobbyboss A-7E and would like to know some specifics about the FLIR-pod. Any close-up pictures online? Also, I´d like to know if that big pod houses more than a FLIR. Even for late 70ies technologies the whole thing looks too big for me for being just a FLIR... There's a line or two about it in this article: http://www.targeta.co.uk/araxos_2010.htm I suspect, given its use as a night/poor weather navigational aid, there likely was bit more to it than just a the FLIR aparatus.
