JB2013
Hey guys! I need help. Does anyone know a good website or any good source of information (books, magazines, pictures, etc.) on refueling trucks? All vehicles from WWII to the present that were made and served as refuelers to aircraft. Anything at all? Thanks! Jack
Jinxter13
I don't know if these will help, but I hope they do...Fuel Truck pix The colors have changed since I was in close proximity to any of these, and so have the trucks themselves somewhat. I wonder if anyone in the last few years have ever gotten a hand cramp from doing it OTW. Edited February 19, 2013 by #1 Greywolf
JB2013
It does but I don't see any vehicles older than an R9 Refueler. Some of my friends used to work on refuelers in GMCs, Ford, and MACK trucks but I could never find info and photos of them. Wonder what they looked like.

JB2013
I stumbled onto this one. :woot.gif:/> http://www.wpafb.af.mil/shared/media/photodb/photos/100119-F-0168M-599.jpg Alright. We got a '96 model. Now I wonder what refuelers looked like in the '70s?
mig23
I've collected some pictures and notes on USAF fuel trucks taken off various web sources and direct from a former Fuel Truck guy in the hope that one day models would be available ! Let me know your email address if you'd like a pdf copy. Cheers, Haydn.
