TheFlyingDutchman
I'm planning a trip with friends to the Chinese capital of Beijing now that I'm inbetween college and a full-time job Anyone ever been there? Are there any (modeling/aircraft related) places worth a visit? How is the Chinese Aviation Museum in Datangshan mountain? Thanks!!

TheFlyingDutchman
I visited the Xinshi model shop at Xinjiekou district, Beijing. They were supposed to have a store at the Zhonguancuan mall as well but it just wasn't there. Just an abandoned empty cellar where it should have been. However the shop at Xinjiekou Nan street nr. 36 (a 15 minute walk from Xinjiekou subway station) was there and it was a very nice shop. Not very big but they had a lot of kits of almost every brand. The kits from Asian manufacturers were really cheap, especially the Chinese Trumpeter and Dragon kits! Really worth a visit.
