Tiger27
Chalk up another one, Tamiya P-47 thunderbolt is an overall painless and quick build, I spent 3 nights on this one inkluding paint, details and decals. I dos't get any better than that

Sledge
Cool razorback! 3 days is pretty fast! Wish I could do that.
Joel_W
Really looks like a rock solid OOB build. Excellent paint scheme, decaling, and weathering. But in three days timer. You're faster then Aigore, and I didn't think that was possible. Joel
Tiger27
Thanks guys :) I'm recovering from surgery so I'm bored outta my scull. And a "Simple" tamiya kit like this is no problem doing in three nights when I put my mind to it. The cocpit assembles and is ready for paint in 30-35 minutes, and using acryllics they dry very fast. I even used retarder for some of it to buy me more time. A friend of mine made a P-51D Mustang in '48th in less than 24 hours complete with all and also that modell won awards so with an easy to assemble kit like most Tamiya '48th kits are its' totally possible to make it into a winner in a short amount of time. Now I'm not in it to pull out kits in the shortest amount of time, but from time to time I find a quickbuild quite refreshing I'm well into a hasegawa P-38 now but its gonna take a while longer, mostly because i'm headed for the inlaws this week :P

Bring the kit with you. Not all models have to be show winners. As long as they turn out good, speed is a nice little push to get them done. With soo many kits and decals out there, for me it's hard to spend more than 2-3 weeks on a kit before wanting to grab another.
